Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Assistant in Bloomfield, CT to support daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking and packing orders, inventory control, and organizing materials.

Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, using UPS WorldShip and FedEx systems, resolving inventory discrepancies, creating labels, and unloading/loading shipments with a forklift. Strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with RF scanning and barcoding is a plus.
• Previous experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx, DHL, or freight shipping preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize company and vendor software systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
