Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Inventory Tech to identify and analyze root causes of inventory adjustments and ensure accurate plant inventory. You will support 2nd/3rd shifts with inventory, CMS issues, and create WIKs, while monitoring processes to spot inventory problems.

You will also lead off-shift activities and participate in audits and launches. The role requires hands-on work in a plant setting, with physical requirements including lifting, standing, and working in fluctuating

Qualifications

• Experience identifying root causes of inventory adjustments.
• Ability to ensure accuracy of plant inventory.
• Proven ability to monitor processes and identify inventory issues.

What you will do:

• Responsible for identifying and analyzing root cause of inventory adjustments
• Responsible for the accuracy of inventory in the plant
• Assist 2nd/3rd shift with inventory, Funnel Cloud and CMS issues
• Assisting and creating WIK’s
• Monitoring department processes to identify inventory related issues
• Off shift inventory lead
• Responsible for periodic audits as needed
• Support in obsolete and launch processes
• Implementation and training of new inventory process and procedures
• Other responsibilities as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & perform work indoors/outdoors as needed
• Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger fine manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
• Sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or sit
• Specific vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
