Job summary

Curbs Plus, Inc. in Kansas seeks a hardworking fabricator to prepare and weld materials into finished products in a busy fabrication facility.

You will read work orders and schematics, load and unload materials, and ensure products meet dimensions and quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand work orders, schematics, and build from raw materials to finished products.
• Finish products to meet standards on work orders (quantities, dimensions, and specifics).
• Lift heavy objects by hand (up to 50+ pounds).
• Load, unload, organize, and maintain inventory counts during production.
• Follow visual, written, and/or oral instructions.
• Comply with safety practices and maintain a safety-first mindset.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Position-level progression is based on business needs and manager approval.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned)

• Able to understand work orders, schematics, and build from raw materials to finished products
• Finish products to meet Standards on work orders. (Quantities, Dimensions, and Specific)
• Lifts heavy objects by hand. (up to 50+ pounds)
• Loads, unloads, organizes, and maintains inventory counts of products during production.
• Ability to follow visual, written, and/or oral instructions
• Complies with all Company Safety Practices and Procedures (Approach every task with a Safety-First mindset)
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Responsible for performance, skillset, and reasonable requests from management, based on relative position levels as outlined above. (Position-level progression is subject to business needs and manager approval.)

CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Forklift certification is encouraged, but not required - company will train

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical stamina, coordination, and strength are needed to move, load, and receive products and materials. The employee must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to SO pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than SO pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use sense of smell

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is in a busy, working fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The warehouse space is not climate-controlled.
