Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. East Granby facility is seeking a Shipper/Warehouse employee to receive, package, label, and stage reels according to pick lists and BOMs. You will print bills of lading, verify against packing lists, and load reels onto trucks following proper procedures.

Qualified candidates will handle respool tasks, use RF scanners, and maintain accurate inventory records with the locator system. A forklift/reach truck license is required for this union, M-F role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret length sheets
• Ability to interpret pick lists and matching documentation
• Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Match reels received from the Test Department with the corresponding pick list.
• Package, stencil and identify each reel as required by each pick list.
• Demonstrate capability to operate respool equipment and understand respool instructions for specific lengths.
• Understand sequential footage marking system and create new finish tags from it.
• Work knowledge of the finish goods inventory locator system and operate RF barcode scanners.
• Qualify for a forklift/reach truck license.
