Job description

Shipper/Receiver/Painter

We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver/Painter to join our Bethlehem team!

As a Shipper/Receiver/Painter, you will handle receipt, storage, and shipment of various materials, components, and assemblies.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Work under supervision, following written and verbal instructions, drawings, procedures, and sketches.
  2. Make decisions with initiative and judgment to support various tasks including receiving, storing, cleaning, painting, preserving, packaging, shipping, equipment setup and operation, and maintenance.
  3. Operate equipment such as paint systems, shipping tools, cleaning devices, engraving/stenciling machines, preservation equipment, and air/shot blast systems.
  4. Use material handling equipment to move items within the facility.
  5. Frequently lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  7. Perform routine preventative maintenance and observe safety rules, including wearing PPE.
  8. Assist other classifications as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with hand tools and woodworking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills are a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for DOD Security Clearance.
