Job summary

Neshaminy School District Food Service in Langhorne, PA is seeking a long term substitute part-time Shipper/Receiver for the Central Store Room. You will handle inventory control, drive the delivery vehicle, and assist with loading and unloading items.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid PA driver’s license, and clearances (FBI, PA Child Abuse, PA criminal). Immediate start with salary of $17.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Walk a minimum of 5 hours continuously.
• Kneel, squat, climb stairs.
• Push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Basic arithmetic; read and understand written and oral instructions.

Job Description

The NeshaminySchool District has an opening for a long term substitute part-time 5.75 hour Shipper/Receiver in our Food Services Department. This position is responsible for the oversight of the work of theCentral Store Roomarea of theFood Services Department including but not limited to: inventory control; driving delivery truck and loading and unloading truck to deliver materials; stockroom maintenance as well as other applicable assigned duties. Qualifications include: ability to perform the following physical requirements: lift up to 50 pounds unassisted; walk a minimum of 5 hours continuously; kneel, squat, climb stairs; push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds; knowledge of basic arithmetic functions as well as read and understand written and oral instructions and a current PA drivers license.
