Job summary

Sotera Health in Indiana is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to manage incoming product, prepare it for processing and load trailers for return to customers. This role requires accurate counting, lot verification, and data entry in the computer system.

Responsibilities include forklift movement between processing areas, coordinating sample shipments, and assisting with other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. A High School Diploma or GED and forklift experience are preferred, with ability to lift up

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must be willing to work established shifts.
• Proficient with computer/databases/spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming un-processed product and verify customer count and lot numbers.
• Operate forklift to move palletized product and place on pallets for storage.
• Move product via forklift between processing areas.
• Remove samples from customer product and coordinate shipment of samples.
• Shrink-wrap palletized finished product for return to customer as needed.
• Coordinate with trucking company for pickup of finished product.
• Load palletized product onto trailers.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
