Job summary

Dawn Foods is hiring a Shipper/Receiver for the Afternoon Shift at the Minneapolis Dist. Center in Rogers, MN. This onsite role covers receiving, stocking, picking, shipping, and dispatching to support efficient warehouse operations.

You will operate forklifts and SAP handheld devices while following safety and food-handling standards. Qualified candidates have 6 months of related experience, can lift 50+ pounds, tolerate allergens, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Available to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.
