MilliporeSigma in the United States (New Hampshire) invites you to join as a Shipping and Receiving Associate. This entry-level role handles outgoing shipments and incoming materials with safety and GMP compliance, using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

Weekend shift offers a 10% differential; hours are 6am–2pm Mon & Fri, and 6am–6pm Sat & Sun, with up to 3–6 months training on first shift. High school diploma and 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Your Role

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is an entry-level role responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming materials in a safe and quality-focused manner. This position involves operating material handling equipment, such as hand trucks and forklifts, to move products efficiently throughout the facility. The role also requires accurate entry and verification of transactions to ensure proper tracking and handling of all materials.

Weekend shift: includes a 10% differential, Working hours of Monday and Friday 6am-2pm, and Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm. Up to 3-6 months training on 1st shift.

Duties Include

• Perform basic shipping and receiving duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and EHS Specifications and GMP standards.
• Place items in the warehouse by packing/unpacking and transporting using forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
• Duties will also include scanning, labeling, and counting materials.
• Ensure adherence to environmental management systems.
• Verify accuracy of orders and complete transactions and documentation per GMP standards.
• Ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
• Proactive identification of safety, quality, and productivity concerns. Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work area and the site Participate in sustainability initiatives, support shift changeovers through effective communication, elevate issues to appropriate team members, and perform duties under close supervision.

Physical Attributes

• Exposure to machinery and equipment in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
• 100% Standing for duration of shift, up to 12 hours.
• Frequent lifting of 20 - 30 lbs. necessary/Max lifting – 40 to 50 lbs.
• Bend and twist as needed.
• Grasp, manipulate and handle objects consistently and regularly, Fine motor skills are required.
• Work in a clean room environment.
• Pass a DOT Physical.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years of work experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing team environment.
• Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Read, follow and understand operating procedures and documentation.
• Chemical handling experience.
• Experience with multitasking operations.

Pay Range for this position: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
