Job summary

Husky Technologies in Milton, Vermont is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our world-class manufacturing team. The role involves packing and shipping components, receiving and logging parts, and maintaining accurate inventory in a clean, safety-focused environment.

This full-time position offers competitive pay with a 401(k) match, annual incentive bonus, a 25% shift premium, and on-site amenities including a cafeteria and fitness center, plus a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of shipping/receiving and stockroom operation.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Operate overhead crane, forklift truck, and other lifting devices.
• Experience with computer inventory systems preferred.
• Experience with construction tools (table saw, nail gun, chop saw) strongly preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship outgoing hot runners, controllers, and components.
• Forward packing slips to the accounting department.
• Check for obvious damage and verify the quantity and general specifications of incoming material.
• Ensure that materials and parts are properly identified and stored in a manner consistent with good housekeeping, materials handling, and department inventory practices.
• Skid/crate parts for return to suppliers or customers.
• Request and maintain adequate stock levels for operating supplies, miscellaneous items, and free-issue type of material.
• Maintain accurate and up to date operating records and files, work centers, visibility, and short lists.
• Produce exception reports that depict potential shortages to the assembly line.
• Carry out job marshaling activities and ensure that material and parts assigned to specific jobs are properly identified, counted, and placed in designated racks. Ensure that Bills of Material are updated to reflect current marshalling position.

Our Milton Campus

Husky’s primary United States manufacturing facility is located in Milton, Vermont on a large, beautiful campus just 30 minutes north of downtown Burlington. This 280,000 square foot bright, clean manufacturing environment is set on 700 acres of private land. It features on-site amenities for our team members and guests, and one of the strongest safety records in the industry.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM

Salary Range:$23 - $26 per hour
