Job summary

Schroeder Industries LLC is seeking a Shipper I to support production and shipment schedules and prepare products for shipment in line with shipping instructions and customer requests.

The role involves interaction with multiple departments in manufacturing, packing, paperwork, and crane operation; overtime may be required. A high school diploma or GED is required, and ERP/SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• ERP experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack products for shipment using appropriate materials.
• Verify the quantity of product to ship is accurate against packing list.
• Visually inspect outbound products for defects.
• Prepare necessary documents and paperwork for shipments.
• Understand and use work orders, sales orders, and storeroom procedures.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and organization through 6S practices.
• Participate in preparation and performance of physical inventories of all parts.
• Operate overhead crane as needed.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
• Overtime is required as needed.
