Job summary

KinPak in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Shipper I to prepare, stage, and ship finished products accurately and safely, while maintaining inventory records. You will ensure packaging accuracy, verify quantities, and complete shipping paperwork in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role requires forklift operation, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly in a manufacturing environment. This is an on-site position with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage customer orders.
• Verify product quantities and packaging against shipping documents.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Inspect shipments for damage and accuracy.
• Complete bills of lading and shipping paperwork.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Support receiving and warehouse operations as needed.
