Job summary

Douglas Dynamics is hiring experienced shippers for first and second shifts. The role involves operating a forklift, loading trucks, reading shipping docs, and handling BOLs and international shipments. The position requires punctuality, reliability, and teamwork to ensure on-time deliveries.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a $1.00 per hour attendance bonus and competitive benefits. Shippers may work first shift (7am–3:30pm) or second shift (3:30pm–2:00am) with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Basic shipping and warehouse knowledge.
• Ability to read pick tickets and shipping documents.
• Experience with BOLs and international shipments.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift and load an 18-wheeler with box or flatbed trailer.
• Read tickets and shipping documents and follow daily shipping schedule.
• Prepare paperwork and computer records for shipping and warehouse transfers, including BOLs.
