Job description

Join to apply for the Shipper/Forklift Operator role at Charter Next Generation.

Location: Turners Falls, MA

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (must be flexible for OT/weekends at month-end)

Responsibilities:

• Perform trailer inspections accurately and identify all raw materials, finished goods, cores, packaging items, and receipt of articles with assistance.
• Deliver articles to correct locations, receive materials in DTR, and label/invoice accordingly.
• Load and unload trailers following load lists, assist in warehouse housekeeping, and maintain inventory of finished goods and resins.
• Support material handling, rewinder, and reprocessing operations as needed.
• Work as a team to meet output goals, maintain a safe workspace, and follow safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and request supervisor assistance when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping experience preferred; forklift experience required.
• Strong work ethic and personal ethics.
• Effective communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 65 pounds, climb stairs, and work around hot surfaces and rotating equipment.

Safety and Environment:

• Prioritize safety and health in all activities, participate in safety processes, and report unsafe conditions.
• Work in seasonal temperature/humidity conditions, with exposure to high temperatures.
