Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Shipper for the C shift. You will label, palletize, and wrap cartons for carrier pickup while following routing instructions and maintaining accuracy.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing at a high school level, and ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Candidates must be able to work overtime and stand all shift, with attention to safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• 6 months of consecutive work experience.
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard

Responsibilities

• Receive cartons down appropriate shipping line, create pallet label, scan, palletize cartons, build pallets correctly, hand wrap completed pallets
• Lift cartons on/off conveyor to palletize for carrier pickup; ensure correct carton weight as needed
• Utilize portable scanning device to update and palletize cartons
• Print and attach additional shipping/customs documents as needed
• Use pallet jack to transport pallets to machine wrapper
• Machine wrap pallets, attach pallet labels, and stage for carrier pickup
• Perform ongoing cleanup and empty trash at end of shift
• Read/write at least high school level; basic math; operate computer/keyboard/mouse

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Shipper to contribute to our Operations team in Chambersburg, PA This personEnsures that orders are correctly labeled and staged on designated pallets and wrapped for carrier pickup. Follows routing instructions, ensuring that cartons are appropriately received down the correct shipping lines, sealed, assembled, labeled, and wrapped.

• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
• Exposure to wide range of temperatures
