Job summary

Omega Flex, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Shipper to join our manufacturing team in Houston. You will prepare, pack, and process shipments, verify orders, and coordinate carrier pickups to ensure on-time delivery.

Experience in shipping/logistics in a manufacturing setting is required. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for advancement, including raises at 3 months, 6 months, and annually thereafter.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy product (up to 60lbs) and use basic math.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and process shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Verify outgoing shipments by comparing items to orders and ensuring accuracy in labeling and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records and update shipping logs as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments (certification preferred).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
