Job summary

Omega Flex, Inc. is seeking a reliable Shipper to join our manufacturing team in Georgia. You will prepare, pack, and process shipments, verify orders, and coordinate carrier pickups to ensure on-time delivery. Prior shipping/logistics experience and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving or logistics within manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to lift/move heavy product up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience using shipping software and inventory systems required.
• Forklift driving is a plus (training provided).
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and process shipments per orders and standards.
• Verify outgoing shipments against orders and labeling/documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery.
• Maintain inventory records and shipping logs.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and process shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Verify outgoing shipments by comparing items to orders and ensuring accuracy in labeling and documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory records and update shipping logs as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload shipments (certification preferred).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy product (up to 60lbs)
• Basic math skills required
• Experience using shipping software and inventory management systems is a must
• Fork-Lift driving experience is a plus, however we will train the right candidate
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
