Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have completed your GED.
• Must provide the following information at final Interview: High school or GED transcript (Not your diploma), drivers license or State ID, DD214 if former military.

Responsibilities

• Shipfitter (Boilermaker) training includes shielded metal arc tacking and rotation through production areas to develop skills in cutting, heating, burning, and layout of steel components.
• Curriculum covers Blueprint reading, Mathematics, Modern Steel Shipbuilding, General Shipfitting Practices, Fundamentals of Drafting and Structural Quality.
