Ingalls Shipbuilding offers summer internships that give students hands-on experience in technical or administrative positions within a shipbuilding environment. The program provides a path to potentially secure future full-time employment after the internship.

Some engineering and waterfront roles may require access to ships under construction or overhaul, including ladders and varying working conditions. The recruitment is based on bona fide business needs and eligibility criteria.

Competenze

• Be at least 18 years of age before start of program (Mid-May).
• Enrolled in a degreed program supporting the company’s business requirements.
• Typically in Engineering, Business, Finance, IT.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (transcripts required).
• Attend a college/university in the fall following the internship.
• Successfully complete background, physical, and drug screening.
