Job summary

General Dynamics NASSCO is seeking a Test Supervisor to perform and coordinate Test and Trials operations for shipboard systems. The role involves preparing test procedures, maintaining schedules, and reporting outcomes to regulatory bodies and customers.

The candidate will supervise test crews, conduct hands-on system operations, and coordinate with production, QA, and subcontractors to ensure compliant, on-time testing within a shipyard environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Marine Field with relevant experience in shipboard testing.
• Experience with Navy ship acceptance testing and familiarity with ABS/Coast Guard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test Procedure preparation, conduct and reporting.
• Test Coordination between Production, Test, QA, Customer, and Regulatory Bodies.
• Test Planning and pre-test instructions.
• LMS Reporting and documentation.
• Supervise and train test crew personnel.
• Hands-on operation of shipboard systems and equipment.
• Coordinate test conduct with subcontractors/repair facilities.
