Requires US citizenship and relevant naval experience. Average annual salary is $116,218 with a potential recruitment bonus up to $22,858; total take-home pay includes overtime and allowances.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen age 18+ with valid passport.
• TWIC and/or DoD CAC with at least 10 months remaining.
• USCG Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) with at least 10 months remaining.
• MMC with entry level endorsements (OS/QM related).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate externally from the ship with task group commanders, customers, and MSC ashore units.
• Schedule ship operations and draft/naval message traffic; ensure timely operational reporting.
• Maintain situational awareness of near and long-term events and report status to commanders.
