Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to join our IT team in Miami, FL, supporting shipboard and shoreside network infrastructure for a leader in maritime and fleet operations.

You will analyze requirements, design solutions, and document architectures. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years' experience with enterprise networking, routing protocols, and security, with a preference for shipboard/maritime networks and relevant CCNA/CCNP certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-class networking hardware.
  • Experience with shipboard or maritime network environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and security protocols.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze shipboard network requirements and implement cost-effective solutions to support fleet operations.
  • Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and security systems to ensure reliable services for guests and crew.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with shipboard teams and shoreside IT during newbuilds, dry docks, and daily operations.
  • Develop and document network architecture standards, operational procedures, and project plans.
