Qualifications

• Certificate from a vocational school with a major in electrical or automotive repair preferred.
• Combination of college credits, on-the-job training, or other formalized training may be considered.
• 4 years of directly related work experience.
• Completion of basic automotive mechanics course, automotive maintenance course, and intermediate/advanced maintenance courses.
• Must maintain a valid passport and a valid State Driver's License.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC/Base Access.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy. We are seeking a Shipboard Mechanic (Motor Transport).**Job Summary**Maintains, services, inspects and repairs combustion-powered automotive vehicles, over-the-road trucks, and comparable vehicles such as light combat vehicles, and trucks as well as other motor transport equipment. Performs other tasks as assigned.**Basic Qualifications*** High school graduate or equivalent.* Certificate from a vocational school or other recognized source with a major study in electrical or automotive repair is preferred.
