Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• E.I.T and/or FE/FEA desirable.
• 2 years shipboard repair experience (or 0 years with a Master’s).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for shipboard repair projects at various sites ensuring quality, schedule, and customer requirements.
• Prepare design studies, proposals, sketches, calculations, test memos, and engineering support under supervision.
• Develop CAD drawings/sketches/BOMs using CAD software and perform technical analyses as needed.
• Communicate with trades, production, planning, and project teams to support engineering tasks and deliverables.
