Job summary
A technology services provider in San Diego is seeking a Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician to support the US Navy with electrical installations and troubleshooting on Navy ships. The ideal candidate has at least one year of relevant experience, a High School diploma or trade equivalency, and an active DoD Secret Clearance. This position includes various benefits such as health insurance and a competitive 401k matching. Candidates must be located near San Diego and be willing to travel to other Navy locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a High School diploma or relevant trade school diploma.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- At least one year of experience working with US Navy ships as an electrical technician.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical installation support for Interior Communications and network systems.
- Troubleshoot IC and network systems on board US Navy ships.
- Report work completed and issues found during service.
