Shipboard Electrical Electrical Systems Engineer Analyst Contingent Upon Contract Award Purpose: Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Shipboard Electrical Electrical Systems Engineer Analyst who will be a key support to the Government customer. Located in San Diego, CA. Job Description: Operate and maintain Shipboard Electrical related equipment and support systems Responsible for directing the Electrical systems process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped. Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all Shipboard electrical actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment. Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 20 years of related experience. Must have recent experience (within the last 5 years) operating or maintaining shipboard Damage Control equipment Must have experience operating and maintaining SE related equipment and support systems. Must have/had Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) qualification on at least one Navy ship. Desired Qualifications: Preferred recent experience (within the last 5 years) operating or maintaining shipboard Electrical equipment Preferred retired E7/E8. Preferred experience as one of the following: An Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV); Inspector at the Afloat Training Group; or TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Security Requirements: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Travel Requirements: Occasional travel -less than 10% If a position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
