Job summary

Disney Cruise Line in the United States seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage maintenance and repair of shipboard electrical systems. You will work in Main Plant or Hotel Services on a rotational basis and report to the First Electrical Engineer.

This shipboard role requires a valid ETO CoC, at least 2 years' sea experience, and fluent English. You will participate in an on-call rotating schedule and uphold safety and assembly plan duties while contributing to guest safety and

Qualifications

• 2+ years' shipboard experience as Electro-technical Officer.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Enthusiasm about guiding other team members.
• Valid ETO CoC.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly maintenance routines and report on the preventive maintenance system.
• Provide professional and social guidance to team members.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including troubleshooting, checking and repairing on Main Plant or Hotel systems.
• Perform installation and maintenance of electric wiring and related equipment around the entire ship.
• Assigned to an On Call rotating system.
• Emergency Duties as specified in the ship Assembly Plan.
• Uphold the general safety management responsibilities in areas and operations under your control.
