Job summary

Disney Cruise Line seeks an Electrical Engineer (Level: 2 stripes Officer) to manage corrective and preventive maintenance aboard the ship, including troubleshooting and repairing Main Plant and Hotel services on a rotational basis.

The role reports to the First Electrical Engineer, supporting safety and emergency duties while living and working onboard with a diverse crew. This is a shipboard position requiring commitment to the maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Valid ETO CoC is required.
• 2+ years' shipboard Electro-technical Officer experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Enthusiasm about guiding other team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly maintenance routines and report work in the maintenance system.
• Provide professional and social guidance to team members.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting on Main Plant or Hotel systems.
• Install and maintain electric wiring and related equipment aboard the ship.
• Be assigned to an On-Call rotating system and fulfill emergency duties as per the ship Assembly Plan.
• Uphold safety management responsibilities in areas under control.
