Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Shipboard Communications Security Equipment Technician based in Jacksonville, Florida. You will install, test, and repair multichannel communications equipment aboard U.S. Marine Corps ships. The role requires an AA degree in electronics or equivalent certification, alongside four years of relevant work experience.

Qualifications

• AA degree in electronics or equivalent certification from a technical/vocational school.
• Four years of directly related work experience.
• Basic knowledge of electronic principles and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and repairs multichannel communications equipment.
• Provides technical assistance and guidance to lower level repairers.
• Assists higher level repairers and performs other tasks as assigned.

Skills

Basic knowledge of electronic circuitry

Ability to apply knowledge of wiring diagrams

Technical assistance and training

Education

AA degree in electronics

Completion of Multi-channel Equipment Technician Course
