KBR Careers is seeking a Shipboard COMSEC Equipment Technician based in Kings Bay, Florida, with a duty assignment aboard a ship in Guam, Saipan, or Diego Garcia. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing multichannel communications equipment for the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy.

Qualifications

• 4 years of directly related work experience.
• Complete the Multi-channel Equipment Technician Course or equivalent.
• Ability to comply with established methods and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and repairs multichannel communications equipment.
• Provides technical assistance and training to lower-level repairers.
• Assists higher-level repairers and performs other assigned tasks.

Skills

Knowledge of electronic circuitry

Ability to read wiring diagrams

Technical assistance and guidance

Education

AA degree in electronics

Technical/vocational school certification
