Job summary

RWS Entertainment Group is seeking an A/V Operator/Technician – Sound for onboard Azamara Ships. The technician will operate and maintain all audio systems, ensuring effective execution of shows and events while collaborating with the A/V Manager.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre (Production or Technical) and have experience in upscale audio-visual settings. This role offers food, lodging, and other privileges while working onboard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Theatre (Production or Technical).
• Minimum one year of experience in upscale audio-visual environments; shipboard experience preferred.
• Proficiency with digital mixing consoles and QLab.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sound systems across assigned venues.
• Set up and manage audio equipment for shows and events.
• Meet with guest entertainers to fulfill audio requirements.
