Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a skilled ammunition management specialist to oversee the handling, inspection, storage, and security of ammunition, explosives, and missiles. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and support USMC Prepositioning operations.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Secret clearance, completion of the Ammunition Specialist Course, and four years of related experience, with proficiency in basic software tools and inventory reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a U.S. Government background check and obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizen required.
  • Completed the Enlisted Ammunition Specialist Course or equivalent.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Four years directly related work experience.
  • Knowledge of ammunition inspection and storage procedures.
  • Experience reconciling ammunition inventory and discrepancies.
  • Ability to determine storage classification and meet segregation/grouping requirements.
  • Proficiency with basic software applications.
  • Must have a valid passport and normal color vision.
  • Valid State Driver's License.

Job description

  • Maintain an ammunition security program to reduce or eliminate the risk of loss or theft of ammunition stocks
  • Ensure all safety regulations are met in storage and during ammunition operations

Requirements
