Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Marine Operations Manager to lead day-to-day vessel operations from our Shoreside Marine Operations team in Miami. The role focuses on safe, compliant, and efficient ship operations, including crew, finances, and interaction with Facilities Management.

The ideal candidate has engineering background, naval architecture or marine engineering experience, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred.
• Relevant experience as Naval Architect or Marine/Mechanical Engineer and/or experienced Chief Engineer with a shipping company, classification society.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day vessel operations and ensure safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Coordinate dry-dock planning and budgets with Ship Management and technical teams.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and collaborate with classification societies and authorities.
