Job summary

Hutco, Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a skilled shipfitter to layout and fabricate metal structural parts for ship hulls, braces in position, and assemble frames per blueprints and ship terminology.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years as 1st class shipfitter, outfitting experience, ability to read blueprints, burn/bevel with a hand torch, and to pass a fillet weld test using 7018 rods. Drug test and E-Verify are required; all shifts available.

• Must read blue prints to lay out and fabricate parts for ships.

Job description

Rate of Pay: $29 to $29 per hour and $120.00 Daily Per Diem for those who qualify

Description: Lays out and fabricates metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkheads, and frames, and braces them in position within hull of ship for welding.
