Job summary

Wayne Farms in North Carolina is seeking a dependable team member to fill in and perform all duties when a regular worker is absent, ensuring production lines keep moving.

You will help train new and current associates, set up lines with stands and ice, maintain a clean work area, and follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all safety regulations. This role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, stand for long hours, lift up to 60 lbs, and operate in a cold, noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred, but not required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to lead and train others is expected.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and perform work when regular worker is absent.
• Set up assigned lines with stands and ice.
• Train/cross-train incoming or current workers on new skills.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area around the line.
• Follow company safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
