The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnight, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
