The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee to perform higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing basic operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions, which support store management in driving performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Management: Supervise store crew, assign tasks, communicate effectively with management and staff.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers, promote CVS service culture, handle customer issues, maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnight, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in retail.
Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred, but not required.

Additional Details

Full-time, 40 hours/week, pay range $16.00 - $24.00/hour. Benefits include medical plans, 401(k), stock purchase, wellness programs, paid time off, flexible schedules, and more. Application window closes on 07/08/2025.
