The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and computer proficiency. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
