The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, learns about key business aspects (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understands CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, overnights, and weekends. Ability to work overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
