MEININGER Hotels is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Stamford, CT. This entry-level position provides training for supervisory roles, emphasizing management skills and exceptional customer service. The trainee will work closely with store management to ensure daily operations run smoothly and effectively.

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills; strong communication skills; flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends; ability to work overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 40
Time type: Full-time
Pay range: $16.44 - $22.00/hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
