Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop management skills, completes basic operations training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance, ensuring smooth operations, and leading staff in the absence of a manager.

Essential Functions

2. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
3. Promote CVS customer service culture: greet, offer help, thank
4. Handle customer relations issues per company policy to ensure positive shopping experiences
5. Maintain customer confidentiality

Qualifications

• Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Preferred: Retail experience, availability on weekends

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Additional Details

• Weekly Hours: 20
• Time Type: Part-time
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00/hour, dependent on experience, education, location, and other factors.
