Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop leadership skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through excellent service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management by driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and manages opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

9. Maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Qualifications

Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred: Retail experience.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
