The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to gain skills for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty by focusing on excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
