The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in retail.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
