An established industry player is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee to join their team in Philadelphia. This entry-level role is designed to prepare individuals for higher supervisory positions by providing hands-on experience and management training. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs designated work to gain experience, completes basic management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management by driving store performance, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the staff and oversees store opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
