The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including customer loyalty and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to supervisory roles, supporting store management in driving store performance and customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff and ensures smooth operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Management skills: supervising store crew, assigning tasks, communicating effectively with management and staff.
• Customer Service: assisting customers, promoting CVS service culture, handling customer issues, maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in retail.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred, but not required.

• Pay Range: $17.25 - $26.00 per hour
