The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop management skills, learn about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and understand CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support the store management team by driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
