The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store execution and performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
