The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to gain skills for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $16.25 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
