Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain experience, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

8. Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policies, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
9. Maintain customer confidentiality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in retail.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
• Time Type: Full time
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
